Join our small, but mighty team as an HR Generalist & Recruiter supporting roughly 60 people at a dynamic post-series A start up. Reporting to the Senior Director of People, you’ll support full cycle recruitment, take ownership of the day-to-day administration of the People function and jump onto a variety of HR projects. 

This role is a great fit for someone who is keen for the opportunity to get involved in many aspects of HR while owning the administrative backbone of the function. What You’ll Do

• Lead full-cycle recruitment across technical and non-technical roles.
• Provide recruitment outreach and sourcing though a variety of methods.
• Own HR Administration, including document creation and maintenance, benefits administration, and maintaining clean, accurate HR data.
• Partner with managers on how to fairly and consistently make informed hiring decisions. 
• Act as a day-to-day People partner: answer questions, guide team members on basic people matters, and escalate complex situations as needed.
• Support early-stage employee relations concerns and document/escalate appropriately.
• Identify gaps and seek for the continuous improvement of our People programs

Qualifications

• ~2-3+ years of progressive HR experience with strong full-cycle recruitment capabilities (technology industry and startup or small-company scale preferred).
• Experience building strong relationships as a trusted advisor with managers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Deep curiosity about people and systems, with an iterative, continuous improvement mindset.
• A strong sense of ownership and urgency. 
• Experience working with HRIS/ATS tools, comfort with excel and the attention to detail required to maintain accuracy and organization.

• This position requires full-time, in-office presence at our Olympic Village locations.

Compensation: 

The posted range for this position is CAD $70,000 – CAD $85,000, representing the expected starting base salary for candidates from entry-level proficiency in the role through to fully proficient.
