Workplace Communication During Times of Conflict & Strife

Tuesday, November 26, 2024, online
9am-10am PT | 10am-11 am MT | 12pm - 1pm ET

In recent years, companies have touted that their inclusive culture means employees can bring their whole selves to work. In practice, what does that look like in our increasingly polarized society? Today's employees are living in a complicated world of war, political divides, and philosophical divides, in a time where private lives have become increasingly public.

What are employers' legal obligations in addressing communications and differing opinions in the workplace, or issues that start outside of the workplace that end up in the workplace? Join our legal experts from Roper Greyell as theyunpack this complicated topic.

Our panelists are:

Chris Monroe.  Chris is a partner at Roper Greyell where he practises in all areas of labour, employment and human rights law. Chris provides practical advice to employers on employment agreements, workplace policies, employment standards, termination of employment and human rights issues.

Sabrina Anis. Sabrina is an associate at Roper Greyell, practicing in all areas of workplace law. Acting on behalf of unionized and non-unionized clients, Sabrina focuses on providing pragmatic advice and resolute advocacy. Sabrina has experience running a practice in the areas of workplace law and commercial litigation.
