DESCRIPTION: The Facilitator Lab: Creating Engaging Learning Experiences
 (L&amp\;D Learning Series Webinar) Wednesday\, October 14\, 2026
 9am-10:30am PT / 10am-11:30am MT / 12pm-1:30pm ET We know that while
Learning &amp\; Development is a critical part of the P&amp\;C remit\,
many leaders haven't received formal training on how to build and lead
these programs effectively. This new series is designed to bridge the gap
between guesswork and mastery by tapping into the expertise of seasoned
L&amp\;D practitioners both within and outside of the TAP Network
community. This new series focuses on strengthening your foundational
L&amp\;D skills through three core lenses: Leading Self: Expanding your
personal L&amp\;D toolbox as a professional. Leading Teams: Developing
operational programs for people leaders. Leading Organization: Creating a
strategic\, org-wide learning culture. Join us for our 90-minute workshop
on October 14th: The Facilitator Lab\, with Cecily Elmas of CE Coaching
&amp\; Consulting. Workshop Overview Facilitation is less about having all
the answers and more about creating the conditions for people to think\,
connect\, participate\, and move something forward. The Facilitator Lab is
a highly experiential session designed to help participants explore what
it means to facilitate effectively in both in person and a digital
environment. Rather than focusing on a set of rigid techniques\,
we&rsquo\;ll work with a collection of facilitation principles that can be
adapted to the audience\, content\, physical setting\, and the
facilitator&rsquo\;s own comfort level and style. Participants can expect
to experiment\, play\, reflect\, and experience facilitation from the
inside out. We&rsquo\;ll explore what happens when we use our voices
differently\, pay attention to the body\, notice the conversations
happening beneath the conversation\, and create in the moment. There will
be some teaching\, some &ldquo\;behind the curtain&rdquo\; moments from
real facilitation experiences\, and lots of opportunities to try things
out. The goal is not perfection &mdash\; it&rsquo\;s building awareness\,
confidence\, and a willingness to experiment. Facilitation Principles
 Throughout the Lab\, we&rsquo\;ll explore 10 principles: Don&rsquo\;t take
yourself so seriously. Manage the background conversation. Words create
worlds. Create in the moment. Transformation is 90% logistics. Everything
and everyone will change. Finished vs. complete. Use the body. Stand for
what works. Practice courageous responsibility. Participant Takeaways A
collection of practical facilitation principles they can apply to their
own audiences\, content\, and environments. Greater awareness of how their
  presence\, body\, voice\, and energy influence a room &mdash\; including
a digital one. Practical ways to create more engagement and participation
in online meetings and learning experiences. A deeper understanding of the
&ldquo\;background conversation&rdquo\; and how to notice and work with
what may be happening beneath the surface. More confidence in creating and
adapting experiences in the moment\, rather than relying solely on a
predetermined plan. Ideas for using logistics\, structure\, and the
physical/digital environment as tools for transformation. An opportunity
to experiment with voice\, tone\, movement\, and presence in a supportive
 environment. A renewed perspective on facilitation as a practice &mdash\;
something to continually experiment with\, rather than something to
 perfect. Our Presenter Cecily Elmas\, MA\, PCC is an Executive &amp\;
Leadership Coach\, facilitator\, and leadership consultant with more than
20 years of experience in leadership development\, learning\, and
organizational growth. Cecily brings a unique combination of leadership\,
 learning\, coaching\, facilitation\, and hands-on business experience to
her work with leaders and teams. She spent 15 years in leadership and
learning roles with lululemon/ivivva\, including leading training and
development across North America\, and has since worked with organizations
across a range of industries to develop leaders\, strengthen teams\, and
create meaningful learning experiences. She holds an MA in Executive
&amp\; Organizational Coaching and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC)
  through the International Coaching Federation.
