TAP x Kwela Leadership Development Program
Delivered over four months (March to June)
TAP and Kwela Leadership (Kwela) are partnering again to offer a Leadership Development Program (LDP) for TAP members and leaders within TAP organizations.
The LDP includes the following components:
- Everything DiSC Assessment to develop self-awareness.
- Personal development planning to ensure that everyone identifies impactful learning goals and has a specific plan to meet their goals.
- Manager involvement to ensure alignment.
- Three skills development workshops to develop baseline skills
- Learning assignments pre and post skills development workshops.
- One facilitated Peer Mentoring to provide ongoing support.
- One facilitated Learning Circle to develop further insights on a key question
- Measurement through Kwela’s Mini-Feedback Survey to build accountability and
- gauge ROI.
- The learning is spread over 4 months to allow assimilation of new behaviours over time, aiming for one “touch point” approximately every 2 weeks.
Program Purpose and Target Audience
- The purpose of the LDP is to provide a substantial development opportunity to leaders in the tech sector and cost savings for TAP Network member companies.
- Participants will have the opportunity to connect with tech sector peers and build relationships with their peer network, gaining valuable insights from peers outside their organization.
- The program focuses on foundational skills, and as such is best suited to individuals who are relatively early in their “people management” careers. This includes team leads, managers and directors.
