Pop-up Peer Learning Group:
Navigating Polarization and Communication in the Workplace
Tuesday, January 21st, 9am - 10am (PT) | 10am - 11am (MT) | 12pm - 1pm (ET)
Building on our recent webinar with Roper Greyell, we're excited to continue the conversation with this Pop-Up roundtable, designed to foster deeper dialogue and shared learning around navigating polarization and communication in the workplace.
In today’s world, where political, social, and philosophical divides often spill into the workplace, creating a truly inclusive culture is more complex than ever. While companies aim to support employees in bringing their whole selves to work, the realities of these efforts often involve managing nuanced interactions and conflicts that challenge both culture and policy.
What to Expect:
In this interactive session, we’ll break into smaller groups to explore the complexities of these issues. Discussion topics will include:
- Boundaries in the Workplace: Should there be limits on what’s acceptable to discuss at work? How can companies set and enforce these boundaries while maintaining a positive culture?
- External Issues, Internal Impact: Strategies and examples for managing external events or issues that affect workplace dynamics.
- Policy Creation: Can policies provide clarity and support in these situations? What should they include?
- HR's Role: What part should HR play in navigating these challenges?
This session is designed to create an open dialogue where participants can share struggles, successes, and insights. It’s an opportunity to learn from peers and collectively brainstorm strategies for navigating these evolving challenges. Join us for a dynamic and thoughtful conversation that aims to equip you with ideas and best practices to bring back to your workplace.
Important Note: To ensure a safe and candid environment, this session will not be recorded.
We look forward to seeing you there!
