Let’s come together and exchange learnings - and address questions - around creating or enhancing career level frameworks.
Objectives
- Exchange experiences and ideas on building or enhancing a career level framework to be used as the foundation for career pathing, performance, and compensation.
- Take back practical tips and tools to your company to incorporate as applicable.
- Connect to other people and culture professionals also working with career level frameworks and gain additional resources to call upon.
Prep
- If available (and you have permission to share), bring your company’s career level framework; be prepared to speak to what’s working well and what could be improved.
Agenda
Welcome and intros (10 minutes)
- Share role, industry, company size, current state of career framework (i.e. non-existent, developed but outgrown, etc.), why here/what hope to achieve from session/big question or problem trying to tackle.
Reference frameworks (10 minutes)
Framework examples (15 minutes)
- Exchange examples of how different companies have successfully built out their career level frameworks.
Q&A (20 minutes)
- We'll start with FAQs. i.e. how to communicate to leaders and employees; how to ensure it’s a living, breathing document that doesn’t collect dust once it's done.
- Open Q & A from attendees.
Wrap-Up (5 minutes)
- What worked well about the session? Tweaks? Improvements? Future sessions?
- Want to pick someone’s brain 1:1? Volunteers for those willing to help out post-session.
