DESCRIPTION: DEIB / ERG Roundtable Addressing Immigration Bias in the 
 Workplace: Employee Resource Group (ERG) Roundtable October 5th\, 9am - 
 10am (PT) | 10am - 11am (MT) | 12pm - 1pm (ET) This roundtable is open to 
 all TAP Network members and provides space for safe (and brave) 
 conversations on issues of diversity\, equity\, inclusion\, and belonging 
 (DEIB). This session will focus on immigration bias and its impact on 
 workplace inclusion\, career advancement\, and employee well-being. 
 Participants will explore how assumptions related to immigration status\, 
 nationality\, accent\, language proficiency\, cultural background\, and 
 international work experience can influence hiring\, development 
 opportunities\, team dynamics\, and belonging. The discussion will also 
 examine the intersection of immigration experiences with other equity-
 deserving identities\, including race\, ethnicity\, gender\, disability\, 
 and religion\, and highlight practices that foster equitable and inclusive
  workplaces for newcomers and immigrant employees. This year&rsquo\;s 
 roundtables support two objectives: To share learnings on DEIB strategy 
 and implementation within the tech industry. To serve as a topical 
 discussion space for members belonging to or advocating for equity-seeking
  and equity-deserving groups. Benefits of Participation Exchange learnings
  and hear from organizations advancing inclusive practices for immigrant 
 and newcomer talent. Engage in confidential discussions on immigration 
 bias\, barriers to career progression\, credential recognition\, and
