Compensation Trends in Canada's Tech Sector and Building Data for Atlantic Canada

Date and Time: April 25th, 1:00pm - 2:00pm (ADT) | 1:30pm - 2:30pm (NDT)

Each September TAP Network releases the Canadian Tech Sector Salary and Total Rewards Survey which encompasses 30,000 data points from its 200+ member companies across Canada.

In the past 2 years Canada’s tech sector has experienced an extreme swing from the "great resignation" and a struggle to retain talent to a cooling period, with many companies forced to take cost cutting measures. All of this came on top of the highest inflation rates in decades.  Yet despite these fluctuations in the tech job market, specialized talent remains hard to find.

Where did tech sector salaries land and what are the trends in compensation and benefits offerings? Is remote work changing workplace benefits in the sector? What positions remain in demand and how do you compete?

Join TAP Network for an insightful, data driven conversation and learn about:

  • Salary movement across the tech subsectors, from VFX to hardware design, development and manufacturing
  • Voluntary turnover rates over the past 5 years
  • Which jobs saw the largest salary increases in 2023
  • TAP Network’s drive to produce comprehensive Atlantic Canada tech sector compensation data
  • and more!

Closed captioning available in English and French.
