Compensation 101: How to develop a philosophy around your compensation & rewards approach that employees understand and care about.

Wednesday, November 15, 2023

9am-10:30am PT / 10am-11:30am MT / 12pm-1:30pm ET

Over the past year, we've seen continuing pressure on salaries, and increased focus on pay transparency. Often, companies are changing and growing  so quickly that building a comprehensive and comprehensible compensation, rewards & career development program is still often an afterthought. This can be an expensive mistake, as losing key talent during any phase of your company's growth is costly, and avoidable.

Studies have shown that employees have higher levels of engagement when they understand the purpose and philosophy driving their company’s compensation & rewards programs. Your compensation & rewards philosophy is a foundational element that outlines how you value and reward your employees, and a critical piece to your company's pay transparency program. In this session we’ll explore how a compensation & rewards philosophy is structured; various compensation and rewards elements; how to define your market scope; and how to include employees in this process.

You’ll walk away with useful resources to get started on creating a powerful philosophy for your organization.

Join Annika Reinhardt, co-founder of Talent Collective, an organization focused on helping tech companies develop, grow and reward their talent. Annika will share her expertise on how to design a compensation, rewards & career development program that can scale with your organization.
